Scattered Rainbows, acrylic and enamel on canvas, 160 x 80 x 2 cm on two panels each measuring 80 x 80 x 2 cm (Diptych)
Scattered Rainbows, a poem in pink. After the rain the flowers will bloom and though I thought the sun would never shine again now beauty fills the world.
In Scattered Rainbows I wanted to depict the beauty of wild flowers after a rainstorm and in doing so Scattered Rainbows began to represent how even when we walk through dark days we can be sure flowers will bloom again and beauty will return to our lives. Wild flowers are so defiant and abundant and full of joy.
Created in a semi abstract style with dripped and thrown paint, Scattered Rainbows is full of colour and movement. The flowers appear to dance in the tumultuous sky and are bold and vibrant. Scattered Rainbows is ready to hang
