Water Ghosts, a flickering glimmer of red and gold, the water twists and turns. The green blue depths shine emerald as spectral life glides by. I glimpse the colour, I hang my hand in the water, I feel the cool space where the graceful phantoms live. I lose hours, watching, feeling myself being lulled with the gentle motion around me. Bubbles rise to the surface, golden sunlight refracts the shapes, I remember the legend of the Koi as dragons.
