I set this against this savage backdrop of twisted branches and decided to paint the flowers with delicate detail to enhance the contrast between the feral branches and the sensual beauty. Hidden within the painting three white blue butterflies forage in the flowers. Savage raw hedgerow, delicate, graceful beauty. The contrast is beguiling.
