Summer in Pink, oil and enamel on canvas 180 x 120 x 3 cm on two panels each measuring 90 x 120 x 3 cm (Diptych).
Summer in Pink, an abundance of wildflowers. Deep blue summer skies and delicate poppies sit next to a wild hedgerow full of delicate pink and purple blossoms. Inspired by wild flowers, Summer in Pink has been created in an expressionist manner with dripped and thrown paint sat next to impressionist floral elements. The flowers are created with a palette knife and the texture sits up off the canvas. Gold paint dripped into the painting to suggest wild undergrowth catches and reflects light.. Summer in Pink is created on two canvas panels (diptych) which can be either hung next to each other or separately. Summer in Pink is ready to hang.
