Some of my previous floral oil paintings have an abstract background which was filled around a Jackson Pollock inspired drip... I was curious to see what effect I could achieve using this technique in a portrait. It brings a contemporary twist to the image and a suggestion that beauty is fragile and could be easily shattered... Fragile. Fragile is coated with a satin varnish and is ready to hang. It is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Fragile will be shipped in a custom made wooden crate to ensure its safe transportation.
