Eudaimonia, a deep happiness and a flourishing growth, a myriad of colour and sweet perfume.
Inspired by the artworks of Willem de Kooning and the bright abstract expressionist movement, Eudaimonia is an explosion of colour and summer vibes. Deep pink, orange and yellow is offset with bright white and ultramarine blue. The shapes are fluid and abstract whilst maintaining the suggestion of a floral bouquet. Smooth strokes of paint are complemented by areas of “scribbled” paint and raw, palette knife marks to replicate the organic beauty of the flowers. Eudaimonia is ready to hang.
