I stand in solitude, small in nature's cathedral. Light filters through the trees and I look up. The beauty is ethereal, a kaleidoscope of colour, a Dreamscape.
In Dreamscape I wanted to capture the play of light as sun rays burst through treetops. Strong, bold colours illuminate the forest and create dappled patterns throughout the painting. Dripped paint suggests the random beauty of nature, making the painting feel more organic and alive. The play of light and shadow creates a dynamic interplay of textures and shapes, from the strong line in the tree trunks to the soft swirls and curves of the foliage.
