My inspiration for this beautiful painting is a wonderful arboretum near my home where you can sit under the shade of a tree on the banks of a lake and let hours slip by. In spring time the blossoms on the trees are breath taking. The painting uses a contrast of expressionist dripped paint and palette knifed flowers with finely painted branches and textured blossoms to create a gloriously soothing artwork. Small flecks of gold leaf glitter and catch light like sun rays on water. Peach Blossoms on Water is ready to hang.
