Inspired by Zebra stripes and a black and white monochrome palette, Crazy Horse is a contemporary artwork with lots of texture and depth. The oil paint is applied thickly and the painting has ruts and knife marks in the paint. Flashes of bright colour lift the monochrome creating a modern vibe. Splashed and dripped paint suggest the zebra in the grass and gold paint catches and reflects light adding depth and intrigue. The boxed edges are painted black. Crazy Horse is ready to hang.
