Storm clouds gather on a hot summer day. The sun shines bright on golden wheat fields which ripple under a dancing breeze. I sit on the fence and look toward the horizon. Wildflowers bloom in the hedgerows and I feel a fresh breeze blow. I hear the Thunder and feel invigorated. After the storm I will see the beauty.
Painted in rich and vibrant oil paint, Summer Thunder draws on a style reminiscent of the paintings of Gustav Klimt using iridescent gold oil paint in the golden wheat fields and to highlight the storm clouds and wildflowers.
