The Sweetest Kind of Beautiful is a vibrant, expressive wildflower garden bursting with life and happiness. Rich violet irises dance amongst delicate daisies and playful pink blossoms, while golden sunshine yellows, soft turquoise and splashes of colour weave their way through the composition.
I wanted to capture that wonderful feeling of being completely surrounded by beauty, where flowers grow freely, colours collide and everything feels just a little bit magical.
Layers of expressive brushwork, spontaneous drips and delicate details create a wonderful sense of movement and energy. There is a playful balance between the wild and the delicate, the bold and the tender.
For me, this painting is about finding joy in the little things, embracing life's beautiful imperfections and celebrating all the wonderful ways love makes our world a brighter place.
A little wild, a little romantic and full of happiness, The Sweetest Kind of Beautiful is a love letter to life itself.
